Description: SHAPING the FUTURE of MANUFACTURING
Successful Strategies for Competing in a Low-Cost Manufacturing World

As we enter into one of the most challenging global economic times of this era, the importance of leadership, globalization & innovation has never been greater.

What we really need is a fresh perspective. Too many times manufacturing management gets bogged down in day too day operating details and forgets to look at their business from a distance. This seminar can assist you in refocusing on achieving your goals and objectives.

The competitive landscape is crowded and dynamic. Small and medium size businesses have their own challenges in addition to being pressured by very large businesses that are very resource rich. The future requirements are very clear. Companies that move toward higher level relationships on a global basis and higher process implementation do much better in attaining the objectives required to grow their business.

The face of global competition for U.S. manufacturers has changed dramatically in recent years.

In this global market where low-cost countries are gaining market share in manufacturing, some U.S. companies are not just surviving, but actually thriving.

Effectively focusing on today's problems while also charting a business strategy to take advantage of future prosperity in the new growth economy will set a business apart from its competition.

The best executives make the tough decisions about markets and products when the environment is at its worst. What is done at the top level sets the tone for the business, the investors, and the employees.

This seminar will provide useful and practical insights on a range of areas where manufacturing businesses can quickly and sustainably improve their cash flow.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

We know that it is always difficult giving up your time to come to a seminar. I always ask myself several questions when deciding whether to attend:

1. What will I get out of the seminar?
2. Will it provide me with some information that can help with some of the strategies that I am putting in place?
3. Will I meet anyone who could be of benefit to my organization?

This seminar will suit you if your organization has any of the following challenges or needs:
• Can see market opportunities that you cannot respond to.

• Are stagnating in the market place and losing competitive advantage.

• Need additional resource to get new products to market.

• Need to add more value into your products at the same or less cost.

• Need to make changes but unsure of who to select as new partners.

• Need design and manufacturing partners who are stable in the market place with a strong supply chain.

• Problems that need to be solved fast.

• Opportunities that need to be acted upon now.

• Challenges from competitors, customers and suppliers that you need to meet more efficiently and profitably.

• There will be other companies attending that you would like to meet.

This seminar brings together a variety of high profile industry and educational leaders to share their wealth of knowledge and expertise to help attendees sustain and navigate their way through the global manufacturing maze.
Five great companies! Five great speakers!
